Rankings based on your student, not gameable metrics

Every school is scored against this student's academics, what they said they want, and where they are willing to go.

Not a national list with a filter on top. The order changes when the student changes.

The strongest fits, in tiers

Likely, Target and Stretch are cut from one pool, so a Target here means a target for this student rather than a category a college belongs to.

We never put a number on anyone's chance of getting in. Nobody can, and our opinion is that probabilities are false precision.

The columns to the right of the fit are our own proprietary but “typical” institutional scoring, shown for reference. They describe the school, not the match, and they do not move the fit.

If a school already on the list lands as Moderate or lower, that’s a great signal that it may be worth further reflection.
